A prominent home to art, craft and design from across Africa, the V&A Waterfront’s Watershed is hosting another exciting Creative Exchange evening designed to bring people, ideas and ingenuity together and spark new creative work.
On Thursday 25 August The Watershed will transform from 5pm onwards, with a special Night Owls skills speed meet, plus interactive installations, music and other pop-ups throughout the venue.
It also looks at the individual personalities of different typefaces and what people’s type choices reveal about their personality.
The book begins with an introductory section explaining type’s importance, followed by a brief history of key developments in typography from the 1450s to the present day as well as some general rules on use.
Pre-register for the evening on Quicket or purchase tickets at the door. The curated space offers a platform to talented, emerging designers and now showcases more than 150 tenants, jointly representing over 365 fresh and innovative brands.
Visitors can select from a wide range of products from ceramics and furniture to textiles, fashion and jewellery.
